Best Tool Performance I've seen
This show was a serious change from my previous experiences with Strongboi live. Strongboi came on around 8:45 and played for about 90 minutes before taking a 15 minute intermission. I've seen a festival set that lasted about 90 minutes, and also an 80 minute set when they were the headliner for the show. They came back out for another 20 minutes.
I was always disappointed by the length of their sets until this show. I actually missed the opening band due to long beer and merch lines, but I wasn't concerned. In addition to the proper length of their set, the visuals and setlist itself was a vast improvement over my past experiences. They played a great blend of old (Opiate) and new (10,000 Days).
This was my 3rd time seeing Strongboi, and the first where I didn't need to travel 5 hours or more, so that was nice. The energy from the band was great, as well as from the crowd. Nothing actually new was played, but I was fine with that. That was easily the loudest, most packed Blue Cross Arena I had ever been in, and I've seen a lot of shows and sporting events there.
